MBFWA DAY 1: SPORTSGIRL STYLE

I am so excited to have you discover my first Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia with me. Preparation is the key to attending fashion week. With that said, I'm teaming up with Sportsgirl at MBFWA to give you the inside scoop this year. Through SPORTSGIRLSNAP Snapchat follow me from breakfast to the shows, and all the in between... FASHION WEEK PREP TIPS:

- Get your show schedule down pat. With back-to-back shows you would hate to miss a beat. You need to be organised and ready for where you're heading.

- Plan your outfit in advanced. I'm talking head-to-toe. ALL PLANNED. It's a week of style, so you have to be onto it.

9AM: Alarm goes and... we're off! Day 1 of MBFWA had began and boy was I excited. My day started with a quick hair and make up session. Done by yours truely. I'm very minimal when it comes to make up, quick mix of BB cream and mascara and I'm done.

**COFFEE RUN. Yes, it's very important to be caffeinated early.

9:30AM: Time to pop on that outfit! I had pre-planned my Sportsgirl outfit (because, well, I'm organised) and let's face it when you walk into your nearest Sportsgirl store, it's hard not to walk out with one of everything). They always take the lead on new season trends, that's why it was my one.stop.shop for MBFWA Day 1.

10AM: En route to meet up with friends for a pre-fashion week breakfast. We headed to The Grounds of Alexandria. This space is amazing, it was once an industrial concrete car park that has been turned into a thriving urban sanctuary. The Grounds provides a space where you can hang out, eat, drink and explore everything from the bakery to the garden.

2:30PM: Time to make my way to MBFWA Opening Show.

3PM: Pre-show I can't help it but go searching for other street style Sportsgirl looks at MBFWA.

4PM: Showtime - The first show of MBFWA kicked off at the Opera House. IT.WAS.MAGIC. See the post here.
